How to properly measure Your Blood Pressure

Step 1

Wrap the blood pressure cuff around your upper left arm. Place it about 1 to 2 centimeters above your elbow.

Step 2

Make sure it is not overtightened. There should be space between your arm and the blood pressure cuff (you should be able to fit one finger). Keep your arm in a relaxed position and don’t move.

Step 3

Calm down and press the start button. It will automatically measure you systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as your heart rate. If irregular heartrate is detected the blood pressure monitor will alert you.
